We’ve known that LEGO Angry Birds play sets were coming to support the movie for some time, but today is the first time we’ve seen what they will look like.
The poster here doesn’t have a huge amount of details but offers the first sense of how Lego and Angry Birds will be collaborating. Certainly this strays a little from Lego’s usual territory as the Birds demand a custom sculpt for their figures. Other than that it is likely to be more traditional Lego bricks that complete the constructions.
One question this raises is whether the sets will include the usual flinging mechanics that Angry Birds toys have been famous for. Also will this Lego make it into a Lego video-game at some point. Now that really would be meta.
