Leeds Fashion Show 2012 enjoyed another successful night of fashion filled fun, in its 7th year running! The spectacular show was sponsored and supported by some of Leeds largest organisations, including Leeds Trinity, Accent clothing and Fashion Pony.
Held at the Leeds Town Hall, the event was opened with an exclusive champagne reception allowing the guests to mingle whilst admiring the jewelry stalls and snacking on yummy cakerox cupcakes! The show consisted of 26 designers and retail boutiques, that showcased there spectacular A/W collections; including the popular BO Carter, Claire Baxter and Agwein Reid. Awards were then presented, appointing Zara Mia as designer of the year, supported by Accent clothing and two lucky models, Lara Mcgrath and Declan Geraghty were awarded with modelling contracts by Vast Model Management.
Whilst the fashion show proved to be a glamorous and sophisticated event, leaving Leeds fashionistas with a brilliant experience, the non profit organisation means business. Their aim is to bridge the gap between education and the fashion industry, giving up and coming undiscovered talent a chance to prove themselves, whilst also supporting selected North based charities. This year’s selected charities were Bethany Hare’s Smile Foundation, supporting the Martin House Children’s Hospice basted in Boston Spa Yorkshire, as well as BHI Leeds, an organisation which help run various health projects.
