LeEco Le 1s Eco Smartphone Review:

Posted on the 30 June 2016 by Abhirup Lahiri @tweetabhirup

LeEco smartphone, hope it's not an introduction to you as I said that, LeEco is the mobile brand making an appearance at every possible media, starting from your early morning newspaper to making a place at the top banner ad on Flipkart mega store homepage, and not to forget how they do a pre-launch campaign online.
Although, they know how to build a brand position before their model come to market, but are they equally impressive on the features on which they become a hit? Let's see.
I took an initiative to go deep into the matter, as I got a fair chance to do so as based on the promotion my sister did book a place at their pre-launch carnival a few weeks back and later she booked the phone.Having got the phone last week, she called me up, as I had to start from unboxing the device to analyze and further give her a detailed demo before she could start using the device.Getting a chance to evaluate the phone I look no further and done all I could do to judge the brand new device.Negative Review on LeEco Le 1S SmartphoneAlthough the phone looks premium in look, has got a decent amount of useful features although being a budget device that can give a competition with many branded phones in the market but along with that it has lot of down points which I have found using and so written down in points for the readers:

1.  Although this device claim to have a higher Mega-Pixel camera - 13MP primary camera and 5MP secondary camera for selfie, it may look great on paper but the picture quality is very average, dull and it definitely made me disappointed.

2.  After using the phone(without even installing many applications)for about an hour or two its metal body starts heating up alike it's earlier model, which I didn't expect from this model. Being a metal built body it may feel like a sauce pan if you continue using it to games for long. It is very disappointing.

3.  My sister had to wait for a month before she got the supertainment packages offered by LeEco. That's a bad promise.

4.  The worst part is yet to be said, recently, they added a headphone alone with the smartphone kit.
The reward that LeEco had given for the early bird customers, those who have ordered before the launch is this. A kit without headphone, whereas for the later customers they are offering an additional accessory at the same price.

5.  To say the least, my sister has recently reported, the handset has bug or virus issues, while using the internet via chrome any usual sites are often redirected calling a threat attack.

You may also feel slippery at the start until you get used to it, due to metal finish - polished, so be aware of an accidental slip. When you opt to buy this device do evaluate and compare other brand made phones at this range, see if the above issues can find a solution then come to a decision.
