We wheeled into the 122 only to be greeted royally with some wine by Farid Saidi, ex of Laurent and Ledoyen, a very nice amuse-bouche of a cod mousseline, and in due time some Pic Saint-Loup.  We were dining/dejeuning with old friends who live cross-town in the Tour Totem (remember French in Action?) en route to their origins in Armenia and celebrating.

For firsts, Madame chose the raviolis of foie gras, Monsieur the terrine (there were lots of them, apparently popular amog the ministerial staff flooding the place each day) of foie gras and veal and Colette and I the fried gambas.

For mains, my Armenian-bound friend had the special of the day - confited pigeon -, the two ladies daurade with a healthy dose of vegetables and I the pig's feet.

For dessert we all shared a baba with ginger infused rhum and an Italian brioche French Toasted.

The bill with two bottles and a glass of wine, no bottled water and four coffees, was 123 E a couple.
