And, I decided to give the 50gm packs a try to save some money and waste more products. What if I don't like it?

It has to be the packaging, pretty in pink, this Vitabeads range is packed in sturdy plastic tubes. The second thing you like to do is sniff the product. It smells refreshing with light synthetic floral/perfume-like fragrance.

Lakme Clean-up Fresh Fairness Face Wash is a clear pink gel-like face wash. You might feel that you need more when you squeeze it out of the tube and put it on hands but it is going dissolve and lather as you work it up with water. Tip - Take as little as you can spread on your palm with water without creating a friction between them. Because if you take more of it, the product is going to make your face dry.
Keep plenty of water handy as it takes a lot of water to remove it completely. After washing my face, I found an instant glow and sqeaky-clean face. The downside - it was dry and stretchy as soon as I wiped water off my face.
This face wash gives me tingly feeling and I loved it.
Lakme Clean-up Fresh Fairness Face Scrub is a creamy scrub with grainy beads in it. They are synthetic, I guess. Grainy scrubs are best suited to normal - dry skin while oily and sensitive skin tend to get rashes if grainy scrub used. This is what happened to me. On tube, it is mentioned that you use it for 2-5 minutes and I used it only for 2 minutes with my palm so it gives my face as little pressure as I can. Fingers can be harsher when a harsh scrub is used. My face didn't get rashes but it was buffed and I could see red patches here and there. Good thing is that my face is cleaner now. I do feel that this scrub has taken off my dead skin and some blackheads.
this scrub gives me burning sensation because I have sensitive skin and this scrub is a little bit hard for my skin.
Lakme Clean-up Fresh Fairness Face Mask is a creamy pink color mask and resembles a lot like pepsodent tooth paste. On tube it is recommended that you use it on wet face and let it dry. Wash it off after it dries, of course. I used a neat, thin layer of this mask because by now I have come to this conclusion that this range consists of some harsh chemicals. Mask burned red areas (proudly achieved after using the scrub) on my face and it wasn't very pleasant thing to wear at that time. I realized that the stretchy feeling did not go away after using mask which I was really expecting.
Immediately us a moisturizer as I did.
Now coming to the point of a buyer who expects Lakme or any other brand to develop a well trained research and development team that tests and tries the products. If Lakme did, they would have made something moisturizing or they could ave introduced the fourth product to complete the ritual with a moisturizer. Fair?
After affects?I want to mention one important thing that I am against fairness products and I do not expect them to make me fair. Otherwise Fair and Lovely would have done that. No body would be sultry and dusky and everybody would be fair. I love my complexion! I used this product because it doesn't promise only fairness. I think brands should stop manipulating Indian market with word "fairness" instead they should start using "this product will bring out your natural complexion in a healthy way", "this will enhance your natural beauty" etc.

So, will Lakme Clean-Up Fresh Fairness Ritual with Vitabeads will replace our daily face wash, scrub and our loved face masks?
This range is a smart marketing move by Lakme and it will attract a lot of buyers because of its claims and the word "ritual" as we are so dipped in this word since our childhoods. You know what I mean! But after the first application you'd come to know that the face wash is the same Lakme popular strawberry gel face wash with a twist, scrub is just another scrub which doesn't fit into a gentle scrub section and mask is a mask. But it won't take much time to realize that vitabeads or claimed vita-products do some work on your skin to make it glowing.
Talking sense that if you start doing the same process with other products on a regular basis, you might get the same glow. not instantly though.
Give it a shot if you love Lakme products and love trying new products. If you are on look out of new routine which is inexpensive and works well.
