I am really loving Lakme's new 9 to 5 Lipsticks. They have been quite successful with their new range of lipsticks targeted at working Women. I hope most of you have already heard about the Revamped Lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks formula and looks . Lakme has specifically launched some nice new shades for the working women which I have found to be a good initiative as working women d find it difficult to find Office appropritae long wearing shades. These are basically a good choice for Matte lipstick lovers . Today we'll review the shade named 'Pink Colar'

Lakme has surely listened to what
women want. We wanted a classy looking lipstick that is long wearing and matte.
They have listened and provided us with a classy rose gold glossy packaging
which looks very pretty(I simply adore it!!! ). The Lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks
come in a twist up packaging and is packed inside a cardboard carton to
protect it from scratching and outer damage. I've loved the packaging very much
and have not been able to convince my heart to carry these in my purse (for the
fear of getting scratches and damage the casing: P) Even now I take the outer carton along if I need to carry it in my purse.
The Inner Beauty:

The Lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks have a very creamy formula which needs no tugging or pulling and is very easy to apply. As the Lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks are matte, it's best to moisturize your lips and exfoliate it too. I usually use a homemade lip scrub to exfoliate my lips and apply a generous coating of either Vaseline/Borolene.
Lakme 9 to 5 Lipstick : Pink Colar
The shade Pink Colar is a blue based pink shade which looks very pretty on faiir to medium skin tones. I've loved wearing the shade in the day when I don't want to attract a lot of attention to my lips. It's a bit brighter than RED CHAOS but is appropriate for the office if you can carry it well. The color stays for long, but not like what the Brand claims. The shade stays intact for 4-5 hours easily and fades. The color fades greatly after a meal and does become patchy sometimes which is not a good point .It does not feel heavy on the lips and feels buttery smooth. Being matte it is a bit dry but the dryness can be handled by applying a coat of your favorite lip balm before application.

- Shade may be a bit bright for the conservative office

The Lakme 9 to 5 lipsticks are quite popular but particularly this shade is quite natural and will suit the needs of the corporate ladies. There are many N*de shades form this range as well as office appropriate shades like muted pinks, and berry shades. These are matte and will stay for long so you won't need to reapply now and then. The shade Pink Colar is a peachy brown with a tinge of pink which brightens up the face and will look good most.
