Kylie Cosmetics Royal Peach Palette Swatches and Comparison to the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
Happy Thursday, everyone! Since the Kylie Cosmetics Royal Peach Palette is being restocked today, I wanted to post some swatches and a quick review for you guys. I'll also do a comparison to the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette and briefly discuss my overall experience with Kylie Cosmetics so far.
Kylie Cosmetics Royal Peach Palette
The Royal Peach palette is a stunner! It is $45 for 12 eyeshadows in varying finishes. I love that she included a few pops of color amongst the warm neutrals, allowing you to create a wider variety of unique and fun looks. You can be as bold or as natural as you want with this palette.

Top Row: Sorbet, Seashell, Peachy, Royal, Queen Bee, Duke
Bottom Row: Duchess, Sandy, Mojito, North Star, Crush, Cinnamon

Shades:
  • Sorbet is a matte pale orange.
  • Seashell is a metallic rose gold with a touch of peach.
  • Peachy is a matte bright coral.
  • Royal is a matte bright blue.
  • Queen Bee is a metallic coppery gold.
  • Duke is a metallic true copper.
  • Duchess is a metallic copper with gold shimmer. Duchess reminds me more of a pressed pigment. It isn't packed as tightly as the other shades and there is some fallout with it.
  • Sandy is a matte tan.
  • Mojito is a metallic chartreuse.
  • North Star is a metallic lilac.
  • Crush is a satin peachy pink.
  • Cinnamon is a matte burnt orange.
Each eyeshadow in the palette is 0.5 oz.
In the swatches below, I didn't use a primer. In the first picture, I used my finger to do the swatches. In the second one, I did use a brush.

With the exception of Royal, all of the shades have a beautiful, buttery texture. Royal is drier and more patchy than the others. The pigment is pretty good, but I wouldn't say that it is amazing. The finger swatches turned out really well, but I had to really "dig" into the pans to get the brush swatches to turn out well. But when I applied the shades onto my eyes, they performed extremely well. I didn't have to pack the colors on and they blended easily. The only color I had to keep going over to get any kind of payoff was Royal. I used North Star yesterday and that one didn't show up quite as well as I hope. But that could also be due to me not using a primer. I have been wearing the shades for about 4 and a half hours now. I don't see any sign of fading or creasing so far, and today I did use Milani's Eyeshadow Primer underneath. However, when I used the palette yesterday without primer, I didn't notice any creasing or fading, either.
You also get a blending brush with the palette. The quality is good, but it isn't anything amazing. I did notice some slightly shedding and it does do a pretty good job at blending.

Comparison to the Too Faced Sweet Peach PaletteI know people will be curious to how it compares to the Too Faced Sweet Peach palette, which I absolutely adore. They are very different palettes. The Royal Peach Palette is more warm and copper toned. Plus you have the blue, green, and lilac shades. The Sweet Peach Palette is indeed more peachy and you also get more colors to work with. I also think the quality of the Sweet Peach Palette is a little better. The shadows overall have better pigment, but I do find that the shadows in the Royal Peach Palette are a little easier to blend. Both palettes are great and they are different enough that I can't pick between the two. There is only one shade between the two that is even a little bit similar.

I am really pleased with the Royal Peach Palette so far! I've also been impressed with how quickly Kylie Cosmetics ships their products. Considering how in demand this product is, I feel like I received it in a good amount of time. The shopping process is pretty easy, too. I do think it is worth getting, especially if you are a fan of warm colors like myself.
I hope you found this post helpful!
See you soon!
