Can you believe we're nearly done with March? Me. Either.
This month I've really been indulging in spending all of my weekends outside or away from home in a bid to do more, see more and adventure more. Whilst it has certainly paid off and I've been lapping up seeing my friends, this weekend I cancelled everything in my diary, had a lie in and... bought a tortoise!
But first -- the outfit.

Having fully indulged in spring pastels already, this weekend I pared things right down for off-duty dressing. Pop Basic sent me this navy silk shirt that I've literally fallen in love. It's that perfect slate grey mixed with inky blue kinda colour. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to style it with leather-look leggings once I realised they'd accidentally sent me a large. It sits perfectly as an oversized kinda shebag, so I added a rose gold necklace by LHC Jewellery, my Celine Trio and cut-out heeled boots to polish things up.

So yes, I'm now the proud Mama of two baby Horsfield Tortoises. I finally decided on two last week and picked them up on Saturday. They're all set up in their new home with plenty of toys and activities, and I can't wait to watch them develop full personalities. I decided on Bertle for mine (a freshly made-up name!) and my sister named hers Eric! Chinese readers: their Chinese names are 亜G,亜左 ;)
Finally - seeing as we're doing this whole "let's catch up on life" thing - I've finally got the ball rolling on my fifth issue of Aesthetic. Yup, I must be mad ;) I've got some really exciting plans in place for this edition and some super lovely contributors too, with room for a few more. If you have some time on your hands and want to be involved, drop me an email here or Tweet me!
