Korres 'Vanilla, Freesia & Lychee' Shower Gel - £9
Last week I was lucky enough to win a £30 voucher to spend at Feel Unique, so thought I would pick up a few new products I have yet to try in order to review them on here for you lovely lot.
I am already a big fan of the Korres brand - their lip and body butters are amazing, though until now I hadn't had chance to try their shower gels. It took me ages to pick the scent I wanted to try - originally I was going to go for the raved about 'Guava', and was also tempted by the 'Mint Tea' - eventually I settled for this though and am so glad I did.
First off, it feels so, so luxurious when applied - my skin felt incredibly moisturised after using it, so much so that after I jumped out of the shower I didn't even feel the need to apply any kind of oil/body butter with it. What really stood out to me though, and helped set this product apart from a lot of the others I've used was the scent - it was incredible.
As you would expect, it is predominantly floral with what I would describe as being undertones of vanilla. I was afraid when I ordered it that it might be a little overpowering, but not at all. It's just a gorgeous yet subtle aroma that lasts for a really long time on your skin, something which I suppose is hinted at in the description on the bottle calling it 'perfumed' - I just didn't realize quite how 'perfume-like' it would be though! Not that I didn't love this!
If you're after a really moisturising shower gel with a long-lasting scent, and if you're a fan of anything and everything floral, this is definitely for you!
