Hello! Bringing you a much overdue outfit post after a week or so of style radio silence around these parts. I'll touch on all that a bit later, but right now, I just wanted to share my pretty new heels with you. Like, look at 'em. I've never been much of a shoe girl but something has come over me this season and this month alone I've added 3 new pairs to the family. Oops. This pair is by ASOS, namely the Habitual heels in tan. Super affordable, really comfortable and wearable, they're ideal for the weekends and for work too. They also have them in white! ;)
This weekend has been the BEST in a long time. I'm not much of a party kinda gal so I've never been a "live for the weekend" sort of person, but I'm really taking to making the most out of those odd two days now. More so than before, anyway. I can't quite remember if I mentioned our work office move on here, but we moved office on Friday! And that meant a half day spent partly packing up my desk and the rest of it sharing gossip, Gingerbread men, gaming sessions, naps and laughs with one of my best friends. It's so rare that I get to spend an entire afternoon with him like this nowadays so it was much overdue and very appreciated.
On Saturday I spent my afternoon hanging out with Bertle and Eric (meet them here - hint: they're Horsfield tortoises) and being completely smitten by how much personality they've developed. Proud tortoise mama. I turned off all the electrics downstairs and curled up on the sofa with A Game of Thrones and got involved in GoodReads! Why didn't anyone warn me how addictive that site is?! Ria and Erin, I'm looking at you and BB... Then I drove down to see another of my best friends to book a weekend in Brighton in August. So. Excited.

Currently feeling nice and refreshed and pretty content with things. Oh, and if you didn't catch my sneaky announcement on Friday, Daisybutter is taking a slight tweak and turn and developing into more of a lifestyle and fashion blog this year. I've always valued and preferred writing my blog than taking photos of my outfits, so outfits will take a little more of a backseat with other posts and chatter seeping in instead. I'm really excited to be able to re-focus my blog again and make it feel more "me" - and I hope you are too!! Better head off to work now; I'm already looking forward to pyjama time, GoT time and Made In Chelsea time. I'll catch you on Twitter? Bisous.
