Kiko Campus Idol All Stars Mascara Review

By Hollysbeautybox @hollysbeautybox
Kiko, as you all know, has been on my radar for a while now and quite frankly, I'm obsessed with their collections.  I loved their Midnight Siren Collection back in 2015, and now they're throwing it back 90's American style with the Campus Idol All Stars collection.  Normally, high school packaging is not really my style, but this reminds me of being a cheerleader. If I ever was an actual cheerleader and they didn't have cheerleaders in 'my day' at High School in Scotland. Fail...

I know I kind of featured this in my spring makeup feature but I really wanted to do a full post on the collection to show off the main event... THE MASCARA. I rarely get overly excited by low end mascara's but this one really is right up my street. I naturally have short, thick, black lashes so obviously the one thing I want from a mascara is lengthening and separating. This one fits the bill to perfection.
Kiko Campus Idol All Stars Mascara Review This is actually called "plump it up" which implies curl and volume and while I would definitely agree that you achieve those things, the main event for me is the lengthening and separating qualities it has. I would say after one coat, this is good, two coats and this is great, three coats and it's a little bit too much. It reminds me a lot of the Too Faced Better Than Sex Mascara which is my absolute fave but this is much more purse friendly making this my new go-to low end fave.
Which drugstore mascara's are you loving? I tried the falsies one from Maybelline and it was great to begin with, then it bled all day long. Sneezing saw me look like a panda! Fingers crossed they release a waterproof version.
Have you tried the Kiko Milano Campus Idol All Stars Plump It Up Mascara?
