Keeping Healthy: 4 Simple Tips

By G J @myfavesjournal

Keeping healthy can be a challenge, especially when there are so many unhealthy goodies out to buy. But I have been trying to stay healthy this summer, and I think you should join me in this challenge. Staying healthy is the easiest way to look your best. It will improve your body so that you can be happy with yourself when you look in the mirror. The best part is that it does not have to be a hard task. I have got some easy tips that you can follow to keep your body fit.

Pixa

Drink Right
What could be easier than drinking water and staying hydrated? The answer is nothing. Rather than reaching for a can of Pepsi in the fridge, try buying some bottled water. I recommend using bottled water rather than pouring some straight from the tap because tap water has chemicals that are bad for you. Tap water commonly includes fluoride. Not only does this chemical taste terrible it has been linked to low IQ scores and other medical problems. Instead of damaging my body with chemical filled water, I have a home water delivery service. You might want to consider organising one for yourself if you want to stay healthy.

Eat Well
Before you slam your laptop shut, I am not about to recommend you start dieting this summer. Nor, do I think you need to book an appointment with a surgeon or try new diet pills. Eating healthily is nothing to do with dieting or unnatural methods of weight loss. Instead, all you need to eat a well-balanced diet and the right amount. Also, try to cut back on the sweets, chocolate and coffee in your life. You may have seen I have recently switched to flavoured water over coffee, and you can do the same.

Get A Good Rest
Sleep is linked to everything from the way we look, to the way we feel. If you want to look beautiful, you need to get your beauty sleep. But it is more than that. Sleep is how our body recuperates, so it is vital that we are well rested after a long night. You can ensure this happens in a number of ways, but i recommend getting a steady sleeping pattern, even on weekends. That means no lie ins until midday. Trust me, you will feel so much better once you no longer have to adjust your sleeping back to normal on a Sunday evening before you work.

Regular Exercise
Finally, all this counts for nothing unless you get some exercise into your daily routine. You can fit this into your day however you like. For instance, if you are close enough to your office you could cycle to work rather than hit the Monday morning rush on the roads. Or, you could take a walk before you make dinner after a long day. As insignificant as this seems it will help a lot, and you will be healthier because of it.

I hope you take these tips on board and wish you a healthy summer.
