"Just Because My Name Isn't on the Ballot, Doesn't Mean This Election Isn't Critical."

Posted on the 21 September 2014 by Brutallyhonest @Ricksteroni

Received an email yesterday from our President.  It reads, in part:

In 2008, I needed your vote and you came through.
In 2012, I needed it again and you came through again.
In 2014, I need your vote one last time.
Obama
Rick, will you commit to vote this November?
Just because my name isn't on the ballot, doesn't mean this election isn't critical. And no matter what, I'm going to make every last day from now until I leave the White House count. But there's so much more I can do with a Congress that works with me to get things done.
Rick, this is our last chance to make a difference together.

Let’s get this done.
Thank you,
Barack Obama

The narcissism... it runs deep in this one... so very deep.

And yet, according to the latest polls, he's still fooling a decent segment of the population.  40% in fact as of the 15th of September.

An indication that we fool ourselves if we think Obama is the problem.

Obama isn't the problem.  And despite his own thinking on this, he's certainly not the solution.

Obama is a symptom.

Our culture is sick.  Deeply ill.

An election or two or even three isn't going to fix this.

Getting on our knees could.
