Beauty-Haul-June

This month I’ve decided to do my first ever monthly beauty haul. These are a selection of products I’ve recently bought and have used a few times in the month of June. Unintentionally I’ve bought a lot of skin care products for the face, body, hands and feet. And I love them!

Top row, left – right:

Champneys Spa Treatments Softening Hand Scrub – 75ml – £6.00

Sanctuary Deep Cleanse Facial Pore Refining Toner – 30ml – £2.99

Witch Gentle Exfoliating Face Wash – 150ml – £3.99

Sanctuary Deep Cleanse Facial Fresh-Faced Purifying Wash – 30ml – £2.99

Champneys Spa Treatments Foot Scrub – 125ml – £6.00

Bottom row, left – right:

Champneys Spa Indulgence Distant Shores Body Butter – 50ml – £2.99

Champneys Spa Indulgence Distant Shores Body Scrub - 50ml – £2.99

The last 2 Champney Distant Shores body butter and scrub are definitely my favorite of the lot. They smell absolutely divine  as they include passion fruit, mango extracts and citrus oils, so if you love fruity smells as much as I do then these little luxe pink and gold pots are for you. They’ve made my skin feel soft and smooth and look more healthy too which is exactly what I wanted for summer.

As someone with oily skin I’ve been focussing a lot of my energy recently on attempting to control the greasiness without completely drying out my skin. With heavy sun creams as well I find my pores get clogged so I’ve been using different exfoliators, cleansers and toners. The Witch exfoliator is great for keeping oil at bay, and the gentle beads inside help to rub away dead skin and clear out pores. I’ve really enjoyed using this exfoliator because it’s made my skin feel fresh and clean and it’s kept spots away. My skin has never looked or felt so good!

The Sanctuary products have also been a lovely addition to my facial cleansing routine as they’ve helped purify my skin, tone it and help get rid of excess oil. They smell fresh and slightly minty too, and apply so smoothly. I would have liked to have some gentle exfoliating beads in the Fresh-Faced Purifying Wash though for extra cleansing, but otherwise I’m really happy with these. Better yet, a little goes a long way.

The Champneys Foot Scrub, on the other hand (or foot!), is minty fresh with lots of lovely exfoliating beads to get rid of dead skin and has made my feet super soft in the process. Containing olive butter, tea tree oil and peppermint, feet are left feeling fresh and highly nourished. It feels absolutely divine!

Lastly is the Champneys Softening Hand Scrub which has become a bathroom staple for me. As the name suggests it’s perfect for softening hands, but can also be used on nails and cuticles to soften, add shine and moisturise. I really like the smell of this hand scrub, but can’t place my finger on what it smells like, other than ‘posh’. The great thing about this scrub is that after you wash away the beads you’re left with a soft of film of moisturising gel on your hands, so the smell and the soft feeling lasts for several hours after application. Better yet is the golden shimmery tube – what’s not to love with this one?

All these products are great value for money, and all bar the Witch exfoliator are currently 3 for 2 in Boots. I’ve bought smaller sample sizes to test them out but I think I’ll be buying the full size versions too, and I’d happily recommend every single one of them! Definitely stock up now for summer!
