July 2012 Clean Energy and Sustainability EventsThe number of events in July appears to be inversely related to the thermometer (at least the readings here in Denver). As with last month, there are limited offerings, but a few of which are education related. Washington state plays host to two conferences mentioned in the digest below.

Take a look at some of the choice events and peruse our calendar for conferences near you. Please let us know of any conferences, events, or festivals in your area. Fourth International Conference on Climate Change: Impacts and Responses

Sustainable Energy Finance Summer Academy Frankfurt

SESI 2012: Sustainability Education Summer Institute

Systems, Society, Sustainability and the Geosciences
When: July 24 – 26, 2012
Where: Carleton College, Northfield, MN
Description: Sustainability is emerging as a central theme for teaching about the environment, whether it be from the perspective of science, economics, or society. This workshop is for undergraduate faculty from all disciplines who are interested in a stronger integration of geoscience and other perspectives in teaching sustainability. We encourage applicants from the geosciences, other sciences, social sciences, economics, and humanities.

Fairly Educated Conference
