The Monterey Park Farmers’ Market will have a grand opening event on Friday, July 20th from 4 to 8 p.m. including special food demonstrations, food trucks, and a ceremony at 6 p.m. that will highlight the City Council and their favorite items. Also scheduled for the evening is live entertainment, face painting, ready-to-eat foods, fresh flowers and fun for the entire family. This is, of course, all in addition to the delicious fruits, vegetables and other food items available each week at the market since it unveiled in June.
Since its soft open in June, the Monterey Park Farmers’ Market has gotten off to a great start and attracted crowds every week. The July 20 event is seen as formal unveiling of this community event.

The Monterey Park Farmers’ Market is open every Friday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. at the MP Bruggemeyer Library parking lot, 318 S. Ramona Ave., Monterey Park, CA 91754. Free street parking is available as well as in the city lots at the intersection of Ramona and Newmark Avenues.
