Juice of the Week: Ginger & Citrus

Waking up early and staying up late with my little one has enabled me to see amazing sherbets and cotton candy clouds in the sunrises and sunsets. Without her, I might be sleeping or staring zombie-like at a computer screen. With her, the world is new!

Juice Ingredients

Every now and then, it helps to look at fruits and vegetables with the same awe. Look at those burst of color, those gnarled textures and those floral patterns. Stunning, isn’t it?

Then I throw all those bursts of color, gnarled textures and floral patterns into the whirling blade of my juicer and wait to see which color shall take the lead…

makes ~2 quarts

Half of a pineapple (including core), peeled
4-6 oz ginger (less than what is pictured above), peeled
4 stalks organic celery
4 organic limes
~3-4 lbs organic carrots
