It was reported earlier this month that Johnson & Johnson has been showing success with a preclinical trial for an HIV-1 vaccine:

The article quotes lead author Dan H. Barouch, MD, PhD, Director of the Center for Virology and Vaccine Research at BIDMC and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School chatting about Johnson & Johnson vaccine: “We are very encouraged by the results of this preclinical HIV vaccine study, and the findings lead to a clear path forward for evaluating this HIV vaccine candidate in humans”

Medicaldaily.com, reported that “the findings of the study “are promising enough that Johnson & Johnson has begun enrolling 400 human volunteers to begin phase 1 trials”.

According to domain name whois records, Johnson & Johnson (J&J) purchased the domain name HIVAidsVaccine.com. The domain name has been registered since December 15, 2003 and Johnson & Johnson took ownership on or about July 28, 2015.

As far as other similar domain names, HIVVaccine.com is parked, AidsVaccine.com is listed as owned and for sale by Domain Capital but maybe as nominee for domainer Shaun Pilfold, the domain name AidsVaccines.com is owned by the International AIDS Vaccine Initiative and HIVvaccines.com is owned by Impeccable Domains and for sale for the Buy it Now price of $1,180.

According to Wikipedia.org, $845 Million was spent on AIDS vaccine research in 2011 and the AIDS-related death toll is over 25 Million people since 1981.

To note, there is a new gTLD .hiv that has 479 domains registered according to NameStat.org and the .hiv gTLD was for sale with a minimum reserve of $200K but we understand it did not sell. dotHIV explained more about why they were selling in this PDF document.

Johnson & Johnson also registered the domain names ShareHIVWisdom.com |.net, YourHIVStory.com |.net, YourStoryYourHIVWisdom.com |.net, YourStoryYourWisdom.com |.net and YourStoryYourWisdomcom.com |.net on August 3, 2015 to continue with some focus on HIV but it is currently unknown what these later domain names may be used for.
