Today WWE.com reported that John Cena will have a surgery to remove bone chips in his elbow today. This will take him two to three weeks to recover. Currently the poster boy of the company is in a feud with CM Punk, and he is expected to have a WWE title match on Hell in a Cell in October 28, 2012.

After some harsh words from Cena to WWE.com on Twitter it was confirmed by the man itself that he will recover in five or six weeks. He will also continue appearing on Raw but he will not be on action in the House shows.
