It is interesting to look into the private lives of celebrities and how they live. One of the most popular and loved actresses of all time is Jennifer Aniston, the sweetheart from Friends. Architectural digest featured her house a while back and went into detail on how she worked with her designer to create the perfect ‘ entertaining house’. Growing up in a house where both parents were actors, Aniston loves to entertain, after all that’s what she does for as living.

On her personal home she worked for almost two &  half years with designer Stephen Shadley. According to the designer, she is very lucky to have worked with a project without any problems.  According to Architectural Digest, Aniston says her favorite room is the kitchen, with its pizza oven and wine room. She fondly remembers sitting on her parents’ kitchen counter as a kid, talking and laughing. She still finds that the kitchen is the place she ends up most often.

The house was built in the 70’s, and Aniston was keen on keeping many of the historic qualities this place boasts. She kept the Hollywood charm and added vintage and historic elements in a modern way to every area in the house. The overall design included Balinese and Asian elements especially the Zen character of the main entrance.
