4.0 Je Thè...Me, 4, rue d'Alleray in the 15th, 01.48.42.48.30, (Metro: Vaugirard), closed Sundays and Mondays is a place I was dying to go to after my 15th pals told me it:
1. specialized in abats,
2. was family run, and
3. was nearby their flat and they passed it all the time hankering to go.  So....

The carte looked really interesting and we ordered our dishes and wine with excitement.

I first tried R's tartare of seafood and avocado which was quite alright; then J asked if I wanted some foie gras - "not unless it's the best of the century" replied I - "Nope."; but my ecrevisses with sliced cukes albeit over-flavored with coriander were quite good.  At this point I thought we might be on a roll.

At this point R had the Pluma Iberica (which Google translates as Feather Loin Muscle) and our jolly host demonstraed where on the pig this comes from - it was decent but no pizzaz; R and I had the kidneys in a slushy sauce of mushrooms, spinach and chivey-greens, again no razzle-dazzle; and we terminated by splitting an assortment of red fruits with crumble stuff on top - again, OK but.....

Our bill, with no bottled water, OK bread, and a bottle and a half of wine was about 109.32 E a couple.

Go?  Just for the ecrevisses.
