I'd like to start today post with a big Thank You! Thank You for all the wonderful birthday wishes I received today. They brought tears to my eyes.I would have never thought entering this big blogging world I'm going to meet so many amazing people whom I'm honored to call friends! Also I'd like to say Thank You to my friend Andreea who made this cake for my birthday although we are thousands of miles away! Don't you think is pretty? It even has green sprinkles!! Just like me, Andreea is from Romania, currently living in New York. She emailed me couple of days ago saying she's going to make a birthday cake for me. Could you say NO? I couldn't! Truth be told it is the only birthday cake I received today. Since none of the bakeries here in town could make a vegan cake I decided not to have one.

Birthday Cake
I told you in my last post today I'm going to throw a party. Andreea was kind enough to take care of the cake. Now the gifts!

When I started this blog back in January not even in my dreams I had thought is going to become such an important thing in my life! I had my ups and downs, at one point I even got overwhelmed but I lifted myself up and started writing again. Did i think about me being nominated as one of Babble's Top 100 Food Mom Blogs or Best Food Blog On Parents magazine? Honestly, I thought someone else has the same blog line as mine. It could not be mine. Only a couple of people knew I exist! These few people turned out to be a handful! 500 subscribers, almost 500 Facebook fans and 500 Twitter followers!! WOW! Thank you!!!
