With cooler weather and the seasonal necessity for lots of layers, my day-to-day look has evolved into what I will call "Polished Survivalist". Staying warm is key, but staying chic is a must. Bottom Line: Sometimes you just have to say NO to sweatpants, and say YES to the next best thing - J Brand denim leggings that feel cozy but look stylish, always. And a pillowy, faux fur vest that is literally a clone of my dog's coat is also great to retreat into when there's a nip in the air.
Another absolute must, especially for shopping sprees: A bag that works as both a tote and a crossbody! Nothing is worse than an armful of clothes on top of an armful of a heavy bag, so I'm always glad I can carry this Fossil tote like a satchel when I want, and throw it over my shoulder when I need my hands free.

For my beauty look, I stuck to what I know: Some faded berry lipstick from Chanel and a swoosh of black liquid eyeliner from Guerlain make the perfect battle makeup for braving the holiday shoppers in Boston!Happy Snow Days!Renata
