It's about time that someone in the mainstream media spoke up and told the truth. Extortion is still extortion, even when it is wrapped in the flag and powered by lies. Right-wingers will probably whine that Schieffer is not being fair, but they are wrong. He is just telling the truth -- and that is what all journalists should be doing. It does not serve the American public for the media to give equal time to lies. It is the media's job to expose those lies.
