iOS 8 Jailbreak with Cydia likely to be released within 24 hours
This is a good news for jailbreak fans who are patiently waiting for the official release of iOS 8.0 - 8.1 jailbreak tool. The official iOS 8 jailbreak tool which is dubbed Pangu1.1 will support Cydia app, an app that allows users to install software packages, extensions and modifications for the jailbroken iOS interface which are not available in the Appstore due to restrictions. In one of my previous posts about iOS 8 Jailbreak, Pangu8 version 1.0.1 was announced last week but it was only a developer's preview and it doesn't support Cydia.
Here's the  tweet  from PanguTeam's official Twitter account confirming their plan to release Pangu 1.1 with Cydia within 24 hours. The Pangu 1.1 will support English as a default language which will make it easier for non-Chinese jailbreakers to use the software. iOS 8 Jailbreak with Cydia likely to be released within 24 hours

"Excluding the possibility of errors, it [Pangu1.1] will be released tomorrow after the completion of integration testing. "

The quoted message above was posted in Chinese social media site Weibo following the release of Cydia 1.1.14 which  is fully compatible with iOS 8. Cydia 1.1.14 fixed tons of known bugs of the previous version of Cydia and brought many improvements to the app.
While a Mac version of the iOS 8 jailbreak will likely follow in the near future, tomorrow’s release will reportedly be Windows only.
According to the website Pangu1.1 will work with all the iOS 8 – 8.1 compatible devices:
  • iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s
  • iPad Air 2, iPad Air, iPad 4, iPad 3 and iPad 2
  • iPad mini 3, iPad mini 2, 1st gen iPad mini
  • 5th generation iPod touch
