The INvisible Beauty In Pain campaign’s ninth artist spotlight is LaShonda Davis
LaShonda Davis is a contemporary visual artist whose works focuses on texture, color, and the expression of the human face. She is an active art figure in the Rochester community, she holds memberships with many local galleries, and teaches art classes at the Creative Wellness Coalition in Rochester’s Neighborhood of the Arts.
Her works are Vibrant and detailed and often feature a three-dimensional quality which invites the viewer into a more tactile experience of her paintings. The painting she donated to the Pain Gallery is a profile self portrait.
For the rest of KNOWvember, we will feature the biographies and the meaning behind the works of art created by and donated to the INvisible Beauty in Pain Gallery by each of the thirteen artists that submitted work for this campaign.
