Street Style: Get the look by galina-gavrailova
Is there any better pairing than denim and stripes? I have really been enjoying the boyfriend jean/stripe combo lately. Surprisingly my favorite pair of jeans right now are a $27.90 pair from Forever 21. I wear them every weekend, and about once a week I try to convince myself that ripped denim is totally okay for my office environment (it's not).
I've decided that this summer will finally be the time I get my first pair of Converse. Can you believe I have never owned a pair?? When I shop I find that I usually go for pieces that thoroughly excite me, but are difficult to wear casually. I will easily skip past the Converse shoe and reach for the white stiletto mule. Ironically in my day to day life, I almost always reach for whatever is the most comfortable, but still gives me an element of style: such as blazers, boyfriend jeans, and a scarf.
The trench is a fashion piece I have always been a bit wary of: I will admit that I am intimated by it. Every once in a while I will find a trench coat that I think I love, only to talk myself out of it. I can't help but think of Inspector Gadget every time I put one on. However when I see it on others, I love the look! Perhaps this will be the year I overcome my intimidation...!
