The Twin Bridges in Danville, Indiana have me completely confused. Some documents say that these are the Twin Bridges while others paint a different picture–it was the same type of bridge that once stood at nearby Ellis Park that has long since been torn down.

There are also stories of things that go bump in the night at this Danville, Indiana site. Wails, screams, glowing orbs–you know, the usual accompaniment to tales of hauntings.

Either way, we can probably all agree that these are incredible Indiana bridges. This metal truss bridge was built in 1877. Though long since closed to trains, it is now a walkable pedestrian bridge.

In other words? It was much easier to get a photo of this one than of its twin! Check them both out below.
