Let's fact reality, if the Steelers are going to win a Superbowl this season, the path won't be like 2008, and maybe not as easy as 2005 too. They won't luck out in playing two teams like San Diego and the Cardinals, even if those teams gave them some fits during their match ups.
Nope, I say most of us have already witnessed this team win a couple of Superbowls in our lifetime, so like an "addict craving a fix", I want to see a path that is rugged, and will give us all the best high!
I want to see them not only beat the hated rival Ravens (and beat them good), but then take that momentum into Denver and "shock the world", and then carry that straight into the AFC championship against Brady and make him look outmatched.
Finally, this is where I can't figure out what i'd like to see next.. I sort of want all 3 to happen.
First would be to whoop the defending champs. Not only whoop them, but obliterate them to the point where Seattle fans can't scream "ooh the refs screwed us. They always root for the Steelers"…
But then, maybe I look to the Packers and see a better matchup might be a redemption game against Rodgers in a rematch from SB 45.
OR do we root for the ultimate matchup - Steelers vs Cowboys part 4????
Regardless, a man can dream can't he?
BUT let's not look ahead. WHOOP THEM RAVENS!!!
