So as you all know summer is winding down and things are getting more and more busy for me, my mind can’t help but go back to the most recent vacation I took. It was 3 weeks ago now. It was a weekend getaway to Basking Ridge, NJ for my good buddy’s wedding. I was my first time driving that far completely solo. The whole weekend from start to finish was just amazing and fun. The wedding on my friends Tony and Sharon was beautiful. It was so fun and even included a flash mob which yours truly was about of. I just want to share a fews pics from my weekend getaway.
P.S. The Hotel I stayed at was the Dolce Hotel and Resorts in Basking Ridge. It is a classy, clean, and upscale place. I recommend it. It can be a little pricey but its worth it. Basking Ridge itself is a very nice. It’s like something out of Gilmore Girls just with a little more money. I think the only other black person I saw was my friend Eli.

I would seriously drive down for a little weekend get away in Basking Ridge again. I’d be the only back person but if any other brotha or sistas want to tag along and know how to tip at restaurants…I’m all for it!
