You know what word I’m in love with right now? Ubiquitous. Say it with me Ubiquitous. Doesn’t it sound nice? BAHAHAH yeah... random. Alright baby, let’s get to the business. The moment you have been waiting for… drum roll… what book am I reading?
Well I’m still trying to read the American Tragedy book. Well what had happened was... I’m just kidding I have no excuse. I have just been immersed in all the awesome anime I have been watching and TV shows. By the way watch Call The Midwife, is pretty good.
As you may have guessed, I am still in the beginning part of the book so I’m pulling another Anna Karenina struggle moment. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, check out my previous posts.
I am on page 40 and so far I am just learning about who Clive is. Nothing special so far, there seemed to have been a reference to gay culture but it was so brief, I can’t really tell. I could just continue reading and find out but hey man, I’m the lazy reader so I’ll take my time!
But nah, I’m not really interested in this book. It’s so dry so far and really hard to read. The upside is there are lot of big words so I promise you that my vocabulary will be 10 times better by the time I finish this book. I have to continuously check the dictionary to get definitions before I continue reading so you know, that can be annoying… but positive thinking right?
Again Sister Carrie was AWESOME! So I will seriously give this book a try. And when I say that I really mean it. So far I have returned and borrowed the book from the library about 4 or 5 times. Let’s keep a tally of how many time that happens shall we?
For the record I am on page 40 of the book with 866 pages to go ... pray for me.
