I HEART SPRING TAG

This is my first ever tag, im quite excited to do it actually, I was tagged by Mirifique Beauty (Check out her blog)!

1. Favourite spring nail polish?

This is my most recent ‘Polish’ purchase and that’s why it is my favourite colour at the moment, (Like most of my favourite things). The Nail Polish is by Rimmel London, and is from the ‘I love Lasting Finish’ range in ‘Block your Green’ Colour.

For some reason lately I have started really liking the colour green, (Only certain shades though) I was never really fussed on it before.

Now that the sun is starting to shine, I like to apply colourful nail polishes, so the above is perfect. (Warning: it does stain your nails green when you try and take it off).

2. What is your must-have lip colour this spring?

At the moment I am really liking my pink lipsticks, the one im using at the moment is by Rimmel London, (Again) and from the Lasting Finish Lipstick range. In colour ‘Pink Blush’, I particularly like this one, as it compliments the Benefit Coralista Blusher I use which is featured in my WOMF post (Whats on my face).

3. Show us your favourite spring dress!

I haven’t got a favourite spring dress to be honest, as I don’t really wear dresses (Unless I’m all glammed up for a night out). So instead I thought I would show you my favourite spring skirt. Again this is my latest purchase, and again it is in green, (Very dark green) I don’t think the picture does the skirt justice.

It is a Double Layered Midi Skirt from Topshop, which I brought the other week, I am very in to midi skirts at the moment, (As is everyone) I love this one as it can be dressed up or down, and the double layering stops your knickers from showing and is definitely more flattering.

4. What’s your favourite flower?

My favourite flower is a Rose, I like any colour but particularly red or yellow ones. I am not sure why they are my favourite probably because they are pretty and they have that romantic link to them.

5. Favourite spring scarf/accessory?

My favourite spring accessory has to be my handbag. I have had this bag for over a year now, (And it is slightly falling apart) but I love it. I have had it stored away for a while through the winter, and it has recently come back out again. You will NEVER see me with out a handbag, (I have been known to have a little handbag obsession) and this colour is amazing (Coral/orange is definitely one of my best colours) I always get compliments on this bag.

I picked it up from Dorothy Perkins for I think around £30.00 absolute bargain!

6. What spring trend(s) are you most excited about this year? (Makeup, fashion or both!)

I am not one for following trends exactly, mainly because Im not sure I can pull them of as well as others. But I would have to say Im most excited about the ‘Peekaboo’ trends, the cut out tops or dresses, skirts and shorts matched with crop tops, I LOVE this look! I am also quite liking the block colours of ‘Black and White’ that seems to be trending.

Within Beauty I would have to say I am loving the new Eyebrow trend, (This started before 2013) but everyone seems to be getting the ‘Arched’ look, which is definitely the BEST look!

7. Favourite spring candle?

I like most candles for the decorative uses, but I would have to say my favourite spring candle fragrance is White Jasmine.

8. Favourite body spray/perfume for spring?

This has to be ‘Elle’ by YSL it has a floral scent, and lasts all day!

9. What is spring like where you live?

I live in Cardiff, and we have only just started having some sunshine, so spring at the moment is very WET where I live.

10. What’s your favourite thing about spring?

It is one season closer to the Summer, and we usually get some good weather at this time of year.

11. Are you a spring cleaner?

Definitely not, although I would like someone to come and spring clean my flat, (Would be much appreciated).

12. Any plans for spring break or an upcoming vacation?

I wish I could answer this question more excitingly but I have NO plans! Maybe a trip home for a week, (Oh my life is full of excitement).
