Ever wondered why Wednesdays are called ' Hump days '????? Well visualize a regular work week as a mound, where Mondays and Tuesdays are the days you use your full energy to climb up after a restful weekend, Wednesdays you've reached the pinnacle of the week and thereafter on Thursdays and Fridays you descend down the path towards another weekend.

Well, according to this modern American tradition, Wednesdays should be the best day idealistically, and why not??? - after all it brings with it the excitement of the approaching weekend. It sure brings me those midweek jitters, which just makes me want to jump and party and wear daytime sequin. My outfit today is an appropriate personification of my Wednesday mood- little sweet, little playful, and little party-types too.
Sequin has quintessentially been evening-wear, but when there's subtle hints of it in combination with a demurer white dress and lots of soft neutrals, it is day-doable as well ! I would totally wear sequin during the day, what about you ???
