Hard to believe it’s winter here with the sun streaming in the window, but it is cold!
It’s winter here in Australia and there are lots of faux fur vests around. They can be a tricky trend to wear as they add some bulk to your frame due to their highly textured nature. But if you feel the cold like me, they really do keep you warm and toasty.
- Wear over more form fitting clothing.
- Wear it over a slim column of color (you want to make yourself look as long and lean as possible before your add the bulk of the fur.

3. If the vest is slightly shorter, then wear it with a similar color underneath that’s a touch longer to elongate and negate some of the broadening effect
The reality with any texture that is more chunky is that it will make you look bigger, but if it’s your personality to rock a faux fur, then go for it using these tips!
