How to Take a Screenshot with Your iPhone 6 and 6 Plus

Posted on the 02 October 2014 by Anna Peterson

Taking a screenshot on the iPhone 6 or 6 Plus is as easy as ever, the only difference is that Apple moved the sleep/wake button to a different location. Although easy, it can still be tricky to figure out how to take a screenshot on an iPhone (it was for some of us, we admit), so today we’ll go over it quickly, just in case you haven’t figured it out. :)

How to take a screenshot on iPhone 6

Taking a screenshot of your iPhone’s screen can come in handy when you want to show something to your friends or family – you press two buttons and then send it off for someone else to see. All you need to do is press and hold the sleep/wake button (on your iPhone’s side) and then tap on the Home button.

If you’ve done it correctly, your screen should flash white and you’ll hear a camera shutter sound (the same one your Camera app makes when you take a photo). Once you’ve taken your shot, it will be saved in your Photos app, more specifically in Recent Photos (it will be the last one added).

That’s all there is to it!
