How to Stave off the Ageing Process

By Etspeaksfromhome
My daily beauty routine is to wash my face in the morning and then apply a lot of face cream before getting my children ready for school.  I like to keep it moisturised especially against the elements in this harsh cold weather.  Also routinely after my daily shower, I will put on more face cream, have a weekly face mask, daily cleanser before I go to bed.I can easily spend more than £50 per month just on this routine.  The average British woman spends £250 on anti-ageing beauty products each year, with the anti-ageing skincare sector forming a huge chunk of the beauty market.  However, despite the fact that many women, and men, will spend a fortune on creams and lotions in order to keep their skin looking young and radiant, some women overlook the fact that beauty comes from within.  I have not spent money on anti-ageing cream yet but age is catching up!  I am no longer 18 with smooth and tight skin. Simon Bandy from natural supplement company Veganicity says: “Many women forget that looking beautiful on the outside actually starts from the inside.  All the creams in the world aren’t going to make us look any younger unless we think about what we’re putting into our bodies, not just on our skin.”Here are Simon’s top tips for banishing those anti-ageing creams, fillers and botox to stay looking healthy and young from the inside out:1.   The importance of hyaluronic acid: One of the key ingredients in the majority of anti-ageing skincare is hyaluronic acid, an important component of connective tissue which cushions and plumps up skin cells.  Found naturally in the body, it stimulates collagen production and regeneration of the epidermis, delaying signs of aging. 2.   Watch your dietAvoid foods high in sugar, which ages the skin, as it decelerates the body’s ability to regenerate, which in turn can accelerate the aging process. Opt instead for plenty of fruit, vegetables and wholegrains.3.   Exercise regularlyAim for a minimum of three 30 minute workouts each week.  4.   Take an anti-oxidantTry to get as many antioxidants in your diet as possible, to stave off free radical damage.  Foods rich in antioxidants include tomatoes, blueberries, carrots and spinach.

I was sent and have tried Veganicity’s Beta Carotene.  They provide a source of potent free radical scavengers.  One to two capsules are to be taken daily with food.  They are free from sugar, gluten, yeast, lactose and wheat.  No colouring and minimum natural fillers and binders.  They are easy to swallow.  It is  £5.95 for 30 tablets which is about 20p per capsule.  They are available from www.veganicity.com, www.amazon.co.uk and at all good independent health shops nationwide.
Now I hope by taking good care of myself from the inside, my body from the outside will start to appreciate it too!
5.   Lastly, is to get a good night’s sleep.  I really need my beauty sleep to keep me more alert during the day and to keep my body healthy!
