What does "frozen" mean?

If your Android device is frozen, it means the screen is on but it's not responding to any touch or button inputs. This can be caused by a software issue, so if you're having a freezing issue, here are some troubleshooting steps to try.

Another way to fix an Android device when it's frozen is restarting with a reset/factory mode. This will allow you to set your settings back to factory settings without erasing personal data and apps that have been installed on the device. By doing this, you'll be able to get your phone functioning properly again in no time!

If your Android device freezes, here's what you should do:

Unplug the AC adapter from the wall outlet. Wait a few seconds and plug it back in. Your phone will restart, and you'll be able to use your device again!

If that doesn't work, try pressing the power button for 10-15 seconds before unplugging your device. If that still doesn't work, try pressing and holding the power button for about 30 seconds. When you're done with this step, release it. You'll see a screen with a message that says "Power off." Release that button as well. Your phone's going to restart again!

To make sure your device didn't freeze because of low battery life, charge it for an hour or so until it works normally again.
