Posted on the 04 November 2014 by Nrjperera @nrjperera

The Internet Archive has updated its nostalgia database with a collection of retro arcade games, available for anyone to play online for free. The games were released as a part of the community’s the MAME project that allows people to play classic games through the Internet Archive. These games uses JSMAME to emulate the arcade games in the browser.

The games includes lots of groovy games from the past including some of my personal favorites, Atomic Boy, Alpine Ski, Indiana Jones, Commando and many more. Firefox is recommended for speedier performance. Use 5 key to insert coins, 1,2 keys to start the game as player 1 or player 2 and Space, Ctrl, Arrow keys to control.

Some of the games seems to have performance issues and bugs, but there are plenty more games there to keep you busy. Good luck getting your work done today.
