This is a really short post because I guess you will probably come across this two words in recipe books- Hulled Strawberries. So exactly what does hulled strawberries means? How to hull strawberries? Well, here’s how:

Method:

  1. Pluck away the leaves.
  2. Using a Chef knife or Paring knife, slice off the green stem.
  3. Wash the strawberries.

Now this is generally done before cooking and serving them. It will look more elegant on the plate, especially if you are slicing them into thin slices for presentations. There you have it, Hulled Strawberries.

For a start, you can try hulling strawberries today for a very simple smoothie recipe that requires no hassle preparations. You can find it here.
