How To Have The Best Midweek Pamper

Soothe Bath Soak with Chamomile, Sandalwood and Ylang Ylang, c/o The Bathory. (£18 per bottle.)Midweek pamper evenings are my speciality.
Whether I’m having a super relaxed week or am rushed off my feet, I always push time aside to relax, take a tea to the bathroom with me, pop a sheet mask on my face, soak in a bath and round off with a fresh manicure. Ah, it’s the little things in life.
Ingredients for Michelle’s Midweek Pamper:
  • 1x green tea
  • 1x My Beauty Diary Black Pearl sheet mask
  • 1x The Bathory custom bath soak
  • 1x Aesop Reverance Aromatique hand balm
  • 1x butter LONDON nail lacquer in Kerfuffle

Last week I was kindly invited to concoct my own custom bath soak with The Bathory, a new company that, as suggested, allows you to mix and match fragrances for your own custom bath soak. Of course I jumped at the chance, half believing it was too good to be true, but I am SO impressed (and my jar now takes pride of place in my bathroom).
The Bathory allows you to mix a salt mix - packed with minerals to either soothe, detox or bask - with three oils, which are then blended and sent straight over to you. I selected the soothing salt mix, an Epsom salt blend (a mineral, not real salt) that eases stress, flushes out toxins and improves sleep. Just the ticket for my current state of mind. The soothe option also uses calming oatmeal, hydrating honey and a nourishing buttermilk. Oil wise, I went for my usual combination of chamomile, sandalwood and ylang ylang.
Cue the best bath I’ve had in a while. Bubble baths, move over; Bathory soak? You know where to find me tonight. (The Bathory dispatches super quickly and the packaging is just incredible. Awesome as a treat to yourself after a particularly hard week/month or as a gift to a loved one at £18 per jar.)
