Their motivation is to bring us organic beauty products created from the most unexpected of ingredients, Donkey Milk. Unexplored to a large extent in recent history, it not only offers one of the most effective beauty regimes in the world but uplifts and financially supports some of the most marginalized and underprivileged communities of modern India, the owners of these loving and hardy being.
More than a brand they like to call themselves a social venture that started out as a Master's degree project. The idea was to create an alternative livelihood for the marginalized donkey owners of the Solapur district in the state of Maharashtra. Families migrated from surrounding villages to try and give themselves a better chance at life working at construction sites and so on, the donkeys serving as load bearing beasts bringing in a little extra money. The conditions of the workers and the animals were alarmingly poverty-stricken and thus Organiko started its venture of providing them a better opportunity of survival.

The benefits of donkey milk is manifold. Apart from being a rich source of nutrition, it has been used as an active ingredient for beauty and grooming purpose since ancient times. This soap is meant for every type of skin, even sensitive ones. The key ingredients apart from Donkey milk are Chandan, Papaya leaf powder, Aloe vera, Neem, Orange Powder with the essence of Glycerin, Aroma oils, Almond, Olive oil, Rice barn, Sunflower, Palm and coconut.
Donkey Milk Natural Ingredient soap is very gentle on the skin and leaves it smooth and supple. I use it on my body and apply a body butter after that. My skin has become quite plumper and there is seldom any dryness.
Organiko Donkey milk Licorice and Cinnamon Oil Soap
This soap has all the anti-aging properties a person needs. With donkey milk as the key ingredient and Licorice as the second one, it has healing properties and works miraculously on blemished and pigmented skin.
It also has olive oil and cinnamon oil, both rich source of antioxidants and balances skin tone thus enhancing complexion. I use it when I my skin gets tanned. And it works great to brighten up the complexion with consistent use.
Organiko Donkey Milk Charcoal & Honey Soap
This is the star product from Organiko. I use it everyday on my face as a cleanser and my skin I am sure thanks me for that. It has donkey milk and charcoal as the main ingredients. Both these along with Chandan, Honey, Aloe Vera, Papaya leaf, Glycerin, Neem, Orange Powder make a powerful combination. The soap cleanses and moisturizes at the same time.
It also leaves the skin brightened and smoothed. The best thing is the radiance it reflects after using. I just apply my favorite butter on top and I am set to apply makeup. Organiko Donkey Milk Charcoal & Honey soap is all time favorite soap and I am sure those of you who are scared to use soaps will equally love it.
