Just a quick question because I am not the most informed voter. What do the republicans do to try and stop Blacks from voting?

Voter ID laws, starving Black precincts for money and machinery so Black voters have to wait in long lines of up to 8 hours, limiting early voting in Black areas while expanding it in White areas, making phone calls to Black voters telling them to vote on the wrong day or at the wrong place or telling them that if they have any arrests or convictions or parking tickets they cannot vote, stationing operatives at the polls to challenge many Black voters by saying that they do not have the right to vote, throwing 100,000′s of legitimate Black voters off the rolls in Florida, refusing to recount Black votes in Florida in 2000 – a state that Al Gore won, trying to stop the Motor Voter law to allow people to register to vote at the DMV.
