House of Booze: Man Builds A House with Empty Champagne Bottles

Posted on the 30 March 2015 by Nrjperera @nrjperera

Drinking can be a serious problem. Some people lose their wealth and house because of this bad habit. But 52-year-old Hamidullah Ilchibaev is not one of them. Instead, he channels other people’s drinking problems to build amazing creations.

His latest creation is a house made by neatly stacking 12,000 empty champagne bottles. Despite what you may think, Ilchibaev didn’t drink all those champagne. Most of the bottle were donated to him by local restaurants and bars. He has built the house in memory of his lost son.

Ilchibaev has used some sort of a solution to glue the bottle together. I’m not sure how durable the house really is, but Ilchibaev believes it’ll be good for more than 100 years.
