The world of Gaming is very adventurous and novel in itself. Gone are the days when we used to play physical games and enjoy at our best. But the gaming industry has greatly evolved with time. Gaming makes the person experience the virtual world. There is good news for gaming lovers. Recently there have been two big entrants in the gaming industry namely Alienware 14 and Razer Blade 14. These two gaming companies are big shots. They have been the leaders in this industry from last three to four decades. Though both of these offerings have been launched in front of each other yet there are certain similarity and differences amongst both of them. Let us take a detailed understanding by comparing Alienware 14 Vs Razer Blade 14.

 

Alienware 14 Vs Razer Blade:

Alienware 14 and Razer Blade 14 provide two different aspects and vision of a 14 inch gaming laptop.

1. Design:

Starting with the design aspect, the Razer Blade 14 is quite similar to its big brother Razer Blade Pro. It is quite slick and made with aluminum chassis. The black body with green backlit gives an elegant look overall. While Alienware 14 gives a rough and tough look. It is very flashy and big. The dimension of Razer Blade 14 is 13.6 x 9.3 x 0.66 inches weighing 4.2 pounds while that of Alienware 14 is 13.2 x 10.2 x 1.58 – 1.64 inches weighing 6.6 pounds. The designing and weight of Razer Blade 14 is quite appealing and hence easy in carrying.

2. Display:

The display of Alienware 14 leads Razer Blade 14. The display of Alienware is 1920 x 1080 while Razer Blade’s is 1600 x 900. Hence Alienware gives a unique and excellent HD viewing experience to the users.

3. Processor:

The processor of Alienware 14 is 2.4 GHz Intel Core i7 – 4700 MQ CPU while that of Razer Blade 14 is 2.2 GHz Intel Core i7 – 4702 HQ CPU. Though the processors are almost similar to each other yet Alienware 14 is best to prefer as it has a bigger smear cache and higher clock speed.

4. Storage:

The basic storage of Alienware 14 and Razer Blade 14 is almost similar at 256 MB. The Alienware 14 has a mSATA SSD which has a storage capacity of 750 GB. However, Alienware 14 is high on storage capacity. Also SSD storage in Alienware 14 is fast and durable in nature. Razer Blade 14 also offers storage capacity of 128 GB and 512 GB SSD.

5. Connectivity:

Alienware 14 succeeds Razer Blade 14 when it comes to connectivity. It gives a range of ports namely Gigabit Ethernet, Kensington Security Lock and Mini Display port while Razer Blade 14 only provides the basic port for microphone/headphone, HDMI out and combo port.

 6. Battery life:

The battery life of AlienWare 14 and Razer Blade 14 is 69 Wh and 70 Wh respectively. Though the battery life is very similar yet Razer Blade should be considered. Alienware 14 will only run for three hours while Razer Blade 14 functions for six hours by a single charge.
