I figure I will start with some of the more anticipated beauty sets and palettes of the season that are priced over $15.00. This is by no means all inclusive, just some of the more stand out sets I have seen. All the brands make great quality products and, though I have not tried every item from every set, I have tried similar items from each brand and some of the items in certain sets, perhaps in a different color, and have found them to be good quality products. Of course, none of these brands conduct animal testing to the best of my knowledge. If you can still get your hands on this hot little $35.00 holiday blush set from Tarte, consider yourself lucky (hint, it’s still available here)! The Tarte Fantastic Foursome 4-Piece Amazonian Clay Blush Enthusiast Set is great for anyone who loves makeup or has always wanted to try Tarte’s well-loved blushes. It includes a highlighting shade, a bronzing shade, a pink and a coral blush. Everything one needs for great cheeks! This is also an amazing gift because all 4 shades are exclusive to the set which means you don’t have to worry about the recipient already having a color!

These are not colors for the faint of heart and they MUST be applied with a brush, but they are some of the best lip colors on the market and are used by pros everywhere!
Everyone loves the Urban Decay Naked Palettes and either one would make a great gift! Perfect for everyday looks or a dramatic neutral smoky eye, anyone who wears eye shadow can find a way to use the shades in the Naked Palettes. Both come with a vegan brush that is great quality, especially for an addition to a palette! The original Naked includes a mini Eye Shadow Primer Potion, while the Naked2 includes a mini Lip Junkie Lip Gloss in “Naked”. If I had to pick only one, I would go for the Naked2 because I really love Urban Decay’s Lip Junkie glosses, and the packaging is better for the clumsy (like me) or the jet-setter. I also slightly prefer the shades in the Naked2, though you really can’t go wrong with either palette. Each palette retails for $50.00.
This is a great complete set for a beginner, or someone who wants to try a bit of everything the brand offers. For $54.00, the Tarte Carried Away Collector’s Set includes 6 Amazonian clay eye shadow quad sets for a total of 24 eye shadows, an Amazonian clay blush in an exclusive shimmering rose shade called “Adventurous”, a mini Amazonian clay loose finishing powder, 8 mini Maracuja lip glosses in a variety of neutral to bold shades and a mini “Lights, Camera, Lashes!” 4-in-One mascara, a domed face brush. A slightly less expensive full-face selection from Too Faced is the Too Faced Suddenly Sexy Set for $25.00. A sleek little compact holds 8 Glamour To Go Eye Shadows, 4 Glamour To Go lip glosses and a Glamour To Go blush. Also included is a mini Shadow Insurance Eye Primer and a Lava Gloss Eye Liner in Black. You can put all your new goodies in the included pink and black brocade makeup bag! A nice little gift with a not too hefty price tag!
The Waiting For Tonight Palette from NYX
gives you a little bit of everything to makeup your face. With 32 Eye Shadows,

Stila’s Snow Angel Color Palette & Stay All Day Waterproof Volumizing Mascara is another great option for the girl who has everything. Virtually every color is exclusive to the palette which contains 18 different eye shadows and 12 shades for cheeks. A “Stay All Day” Waterproof Volumizing Mascara is an added bonus to this cute snowflake-shaped set priced at $39.00.
The Pixi Early Bird Kit is a great gift option for $34.00. The packaging is beautiful, but even better are the contents. Inside you’ll find 3 Blushes, 2 Bronzers, 1 Highlighter, 4 Eye Shadow Bases, and 16 Eye Shadows. There is a great mix of light and dark neutral shades that anyone is sure to love!
