Hiking At Mission Peak

By Vsudarsan

Hello, everyone! We live close to beautiful mountains, and the tallest one is called the "Mission Peak". The hike up to Mission Peak is three miles long and 2,000 feet in elevation. It is one of the most visited hikes in the Bay area. The payoff is quite amazing at the summit. On a good day, you can get a panoramic view of San Fransisco, Oakland, San Jose and maybe Sierra Nevada! There is a pole at the top to climb where one can pose the victory. Well, you might have to stand in a line for your turn. I like the crowd and enthusiasm which really keeps me motivated.

I've a few pictures of this peak and a product that came in very handy during our last hike. We realize how important it is to keep ourselves hydrated all day and especially during a hike. Bags and back bags on my shoulders has always slowed me down. Other alternatives include waist belts, and the one I am showcasing here has pouches to carry water bottles. That's what makes this stand out from the rest in the market. It is light, soft, breathable and durable, and it even has a reflective strip on the front that will brighten up in the dark. That's quite a bit of comfort making my hikes so enjoyable! Here's a picture of my daughter posing with this belt on. I totally recommend this product for any outdoor lovers!
