Baani Square, the otherwise deserted mall at Sector 50 has had a sudden influx of many small format restaurants. Hiral Ashar Anand, a Gurgaon Foodie member and a graduate from Sophia College, Mumbai, has a teeny weeny bakery shop there called Heyy Sugar. Hiral has been a baker for the past ten years, and still bakes at home all the goodies on display at the shop.

Since I am not able to visit her shop, she sends across a hamper requesting a review. The hamper has a chocolate truffle pastry, rum ball with a hint of cinnamon and orange, white chocolate and raspberry slice, caramel and chocolate slice, garlic toasties and a designer cookie. Despite not having a sweet tooth, I must say I am impressed with the quality and taste. This is the taste I have come to expect from high end bakeries.
