I'm a big fan of Sarah Crossan and have read and loved a few of her YA novels in verse. I was looking forward to seeing how she tackles adult fiction. This is also written in novel-in-verse format which I've been reading more and more and really enjoy. Ana is the narrator. Here Is the Beehive is a brilliant book. I didn't want it to end. The book is really two stories entwined around each other. The first story focuses on Anna and Connor's affair and what draws them together again and again. The second story focuses on the aftermath of Connor's death with Ana grieving a man she can't mourn in public. This is an incredibly sad book at times but full of love, life and hope as well. This is an amazing read.
