HELP #Windows10 #Upgrade Wiped My #computer Memory

HELP #Microsoft #Windows10 #Upgrade wiped my #computer memory This is for anyone who ends up in the situation I was in this morning:So after calling the first number, being transferred, having to explain myself again over and over, and to then be told that I "have to take my computer to my local Microsoft store" (is there a physical, bricks and stones store?) and then being refused to speak with someone in escalations, I called 905-568-0434 and met Bhanu. She is a lovely lady who used to have a cat named Meow and saw my concern to be just as important as if it had been her own home computer. She did not scold me for not reading 10 pages of terms and conditions or not having backed up personal files since last summer. I am really glad I called that other number instead of writing a scathing blog post about my experience and stumbling through this myself. Some may not think my pet-loving readers would be interested in content like this, but there is one thing they all have in common: they all have computers!Bhanu and I spent 2 hours and 18 minuets on the phone this morning discovering my problem and fixing it. During this time she was not only concerned about my #PC, but also that I feed my pets she could hear in the background, get my morning coffee and eat my breakfast. Here is what happened: #Windows10 will eventually do a forced update on all PC #computers but if you haven't updated to #Windows8 (like I haven't because, I'm wary of updates, GEE WONDER WHY?) it will force #update to that version, which is what it did to me. For reasons I don't quite understand, it moved my files to a location where I could not access them. Bhanu had to remote access my computer and set up a whole new profile and #Microsoft account, and move my files section by section. Then she did some fancy things to it to make it run faster- just because she's awesome like that! While we were on the phone she checked my computer to see if it was compatible with #Windows 10- which it was not. She told me when I'm force-upgraded it will make my #computer run really slow. The ONLY way to avoid a forced #upgrade is to call #MicrosoftSupport and have them disable it. I recommend calling the number I listed above. I would have never been able to figure out and fix this on my own.In the end it was almost hard for us to say goodbye to each other- Bhanu and I spent so much time together. But I'm glad I don't have to tiptoe around my house wondering if she can see me through the monitor! Thank you Bhanu, I will share my lovely experience with you with other people going through this issue on tech. Thanks to you I will have time in my day to do that.Hey #Microsoft#CallCenters I think Bhanu B. deserves a big, fat cash bonus! She deserves the exact amount it would be for me to walk in off the street today and buy a Mac Book- because if it weren't for her I would have done it, and never bought another PC again!
