Mastering a new look for AW14 with Berry Vary Design. Hello and welcome to a shiny new redesign of Daisybutter! I'm currently tucked in bed with a cup of tea, a book by my side and I'm Skype-ing my boyfriend from a super unflattering angle. (You all know the one.) If I'm going to set the scene properly, I also curled the left side of my hair and then utterly gave up. So I decided to shake the look and feel of the blog around - you like?
I worked closely with the ever talented Grace at Berry Vary Design for this facelift. She designed my previous layout too and while I LOVED that one too, with a whole new chapter ahead of me, feeling like I'd outgrown the pastel hues and it being a year since the installation, I wanted something fresher and more sleek. Grace is seriously awesome: I fired her a couple of buzzwords, colours and the components I was after and she mocked up two layouts. Then we tweaked my favorite and here we are.
Daisybutter v5.0 feels more polished. More me. As clutter-free as I wish my life was! I adore the new logo and the coloured sidebar sections. The navigation has been updated so you'll be able to find nearly anything you want. Except from cute puppies and kittens - you can go to my Pinterest for those.
